The eMarketing Techniques Conference for Businesses in Austin was a huge success. – Katrina Gadison, Austin Community College
The event took place on January 29th, 2009 and was co-produced by Austin Community College and WorkSmart eMarketing. The event featured more than 10 experts in the field of eMarketing throughout the day, including:

Over 65 individuals from the greater Austin and beyond participated in the event and feedback has been very positive.
The day kicked off with an opening keynote presentation from Brad Kleinman. Brad’s motivational and enthusiastic energy spread throughout the crowd as he spoke about the importance of internet marketing in today’s environment.
One of the vital takeaways from Brad’s speech was the importance of systematizing your eMarketing efforts. With all those tools that are out there, it is important to focus on just a few tools and techniques and give them a try, instead of getting paralysis by analysis.

Plenary Speech By Rick Burnes of Hubspot
Rick Burnes, editor of HubSpot’s blog gave a plenary speech during the lunch hour on Inbound Marketing & the Next Phase of the Web. During Rick’s 75 minute presentation, he covered some of the important components of a successful online marketing campaign, the benefits of inbound marketing verse direct and how it will be critical to divest many of your resources from traditional and direct marketing to inbound marketing via the web. The audience was extremely engaged as they asked questions throughout the presentation. Check out Rick’s presentation below.
All Good Things must come to an end
The day ended with the participants spending the last 45 minutes with the experts answering any of their questions and helping point each person in the right direction. All and all the day was a great success!
